COVID-19
Over the past few years, the world has been forced to live with the coronavirus disease of 2019, also known as COVID-19. At our daycare, we follow the safety guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the state government and will continue to do so until it is no longer required. Keeping this in mind, the following procedures are currently in place:
-
Temperature checks: anyone with a fever of 100.4 degrees or more will not
be allowed to stay in our care.
-
Hands must be washed properly or sanitized before (preferred) or upon entering the home.
-
Children will be taught to wash their hands for 20 seconds
-
Our home, toys, hard furniture, and other daycare supplies the children come into contact with
are cleaned regularly.
-
Gloves will be worn by myself and assistants during food preparation, cleaning or taking out
trash.
-
Anyone with a fever must remain home until after 24 hours of being fever free without the use of medication.

More information will be provided in our Parent Handbook.
